Yes I read it many times, but my source (Quran) does not portray her so. I had a thread on this issue too

I thought may be it’s a novel or traditional story like sasi punhoo,heer ranjha.

Yes its about Hazrat Yusuf ASA. Miyan Muhammad Bux ( a Punjabi poet) wrote it like traditional folk stories.

Because Quran covers only relevant details of the story and our poets added a lot in the story (from unknown sources) to make it like any ordinary story.

The sentence is used to refer the situation when anyone could not understand the basics of a thing after hearing lot of explanations.

I have read real one in Quran e Pak.

The basic source might be Jewish folklore that has been adapted even in many of our Tafaseer e Quran.
