Re: Majboori–Parvin Shakir
A great lady. A poetess unmatched.
I still cherish her wonderful stay at
ours at Abudhabi during JASHN-E-AALI
she attended in 1988.
Alas..she left this world very early..
leaving behind, much including her
able son Murad.

Helplessness
You complain of my reticence.
But my darling,
could you ever realize
whenever I raise my **
**eyes to see you fully,
why under my pale golden **
**skin so many little lamps
lit up suddenly?

Parting
He's now gone.
But a soft moment of
his parting still stays
at the back of my palm -
a rising moon of the
first night in my life.

Luck
I'm the woman
to whom on the first night
lifting my veil he says -

my heart.
