So you're asking whether it's important to know of a person's view point before knowing them, and if so how should you go about finding out that view point...WTF...are you a philosopher or something....?

what i dont understand is why - is there the need to understand people, their intentions or motives. Shouldn't you be seeking to work and enjoy each other??
