maiN usay yaad bana daina chata hooN- Munir Niyaazi

** maiN usay yaad bana daina chata hooN- Munir Niyaazi

**Main uski aankhoN maiN daikhta rehta hooN
Magar meri samajh maiN kuch naiN aataa
Main uski baatoN ko sunta rehta hooN
Magar meri samajh maiN kuch nahiN aataa
Agar kabhi woH mujhsay milay
To maiN ussay baat nahiN karuNga
Uski taraf daikhuNga bhi nahiN
MaiN koshish karuNga
Mera dil kahiN aur mubtila ho jayay
Ab maiN usay yaad banaa dena chahta hooN

Re: maiN usay yaad bana daina chata hooN- Munir Niyaazi

This poem only tells *what the poet wants to do with him and *shows absolutely nothing - why.

There is nothing in this poem to appreciate. Could you tell me why you liked this poem and what's your appreciation of it.

Suppose someone says,

main uski pitaaee karna chata hoon

ya

main us say mohabbat karna chata hoon

and does not tell why, will it make a poem? Why should the reader care what the poet wants to do unless the poet gets connected with the reader?

Read:
MaiN koshish karuNga
Mera dil kahiN aur mubtila ho jayay
Ab maiN usay yaad banaa dena chahta hooN

I read it. He'll try lest his heart gets entangled. He wats to make a memory out of a certain person.

So what? All the poet is doing is telling. What is he showing here?

Could you please tell us your appreciation of this poem? Tell us what emotions, if any, this poem evokes in the mind of a reader. Why shoud the reader care what the poet wants to do if he does not tell why and how that might interest the reader. What does this poem convey to the reader?

I hope you will explain this time. Regards. Tanzan Senzaki
