main = sharaab/alcohol
meena = a girl (referring to anyother girl)
saaqi = cup bearer
paimana = scale (referring to the scale used to measure the alcohol)

so he is saying that my heart only feels good when you come ‘dil behlta hai mera aapke ajane se’…not with any of those things above.

I’ve asked a few people and pretty much the gist of that line is that intoxicants don’t do it for him…only Neelam does. Have read different meaning for “main” “mina” and “paaimana”.

Did you always know the meanings of these words…or did you have to look them up? Cuz…while I get the rest of the song, I’ve never heard those words before.
