It’s a conviction by Dr. Leslie Klenay that the dificiencies of copper and the surplus of fat in the diet, brings on heart attacks or heart diseases. And the culprut is the Eastern diet specially Pakistani which includes too much fat, sugar and too little copper.
It has been well noted that people on low copper diets show upward spurts of cholesterol and blood pressure and abnormal electrocardiograms. Sudden deaths, blood clots, high cholesterol and triglycerides and damaged arteries are all due to the lack of copper and too much fat in our diets.
Foods rich in copper are nuts,seeds,liver. Its been common aying that sugar in diet increases a great number of cholesterols but is remarkable to know that “It robs the body of copper”.
Thus less sugar and considerable amount of copper could prevent us from “Heart diseases”.
