dunia mein har jaga aisa hota hai. khuda janay hum watan-e-azeez ko iska zima kiyon detay hein. hamein news paper mein achi news kay liye bhi section rakhna chahiye. hamaray news papers aur wesay bhi ham hkeeki life mein buri khabron ko bohet uchaltay hein.
khushi share karnay say ziada ho jati hai. aur zindagi khushiyan chahti hai.
mein news papers kay baray mein ek research paper bana rahi thi. aur mein nay yah baat note ki kay hamein apnay news papers kay standard ko up karnay ki zaroorat hai.
watan kay shab-o-roz walay section mein sirf yah khabar nahi honi chahiye "falan village mein katal ho gea", waghera.
fan-o-fankaar walay section mein apnay artists ko bharpoor coverage deni chahiye. aur foreign artists ki coverage kay liye agenda hona chahiye. aisa nahi hona chahiye kay ek hi country kay artists ki daily news hon.
and the world is heading for Capitalism which will kill all those such families.
such a sad story of our society

yes, you are absolutely right, the poor families, the reality of life, dying economy, dying family values stand no respect to show up in the media, all thumbs up.
only wealthy, famous, upto-throat-filled-stomach filled people should be covered. our "artists" are our "assets" and "real" people should be ignored.
May Allah SWT guide us all towards right and help us follow the right
Regardless of all the socio-political excuses we may give, the particular story/news narrated by Abdul Qadir Hasan is so sad, it wrenches the heart.
It reminds me of a great muslim ruler, who cried the whole night after becoming the khalifa of all muslims. The reason, in his own words (and I am paraphrasing) "**If a goat dies on the shore of Nile, then I (Umar) will be asked about it on the Day of the Judgement" (because I am now responsible for the well-being of everyone in my jurisdiction).
Makes me wonder, with so much suffering in the world, hunger and poverty, how do our rulers manage to sleep at night? But then again, the present day crop of rulers is completely different from the god-fearing, momineen of days gone by.

akhbar ka standard to hamesha acha ho sakta hain laikin mera khyaal ye hai kai pakistan kai ziyada ashaa't walai akhbaar kaafi achai hain.. or jahan tak baat hai kai sirif buri hi baat kiyoun uchali jati hai ye har jaga hota hai sirif pakistan ka masla nahi hai.. aakhir ko they say only bad news is news.. good news is information.. :) ppl like to read about it and so it serves the purpose for the newspapers because after all they are businesses too and have to cater to their customers liking.. besides all this discussion i think its very appropriate that the above mentioned incident and others like that should be noted and reported in every newspaper.. cause we as a nation and individuals can use some reality checks.. who knows what will click for who.. and he/she decides to do some good in any respect..

Rulers are ordinary ppl too.. how can you or i can sleep at night with all this going on ?? just like we can.. they can too.. blame game should start from oneself here in my humble opinion..

Its not about blame game. Its about responsibility. Each of us will be asked about those who are under our responsibility. A ruler is responsible for all those for whom he is responsible.
When they greedily seek power, and relish in the comfort of their rule, they should be aware of their responsibilities too. Or else, they will be reminded at a time when they can not go back and redo it. It is for this reason, that many accomplained muslim scholars never accepted position of power.
While, an ordinary muslim will also be asked on what s/he did to help the fellow beings, the questioning will be much more vigorous for those who are the rulers.
