So are there going to be any consequences for Javeria Saud for spewing this jahaalat on her show? I checked her facebook page and Utho jaago Pakistan official page and there is no mention of this show by any of the fans. I cannot believe that there is no outrage in response to the crap that came out of her mouth on the show. Paula Deen was dropped by Food Network and made a mockery of all over the media because she used the N word once upon a time for her wait staff. Yet in Pakistan, you can literally threaten to set someone on fire on television and get away with it?!
There was another morning show about maids a year or so ago. It was either Nadia Khan’s or Nida Nawaz’s show (cant remember, they all look and sound the same to me)…but it was a tad more intelligent than this one and it talked about all aspects of having a maid - the good, the bad and the ugly (i.e. child labor).
UGH I am so mad right now.
