Hey Spiral, if the sole criteria for a rishta is that my should mate should know how to cook food , clean dishes, should be able to mow the lawn , mend my clothes etc etc , then that person is looking for a maid not a soul mate.
After the wedding if a wife cooks food , mows the laws , washes the car , does the laundry etc then it is out of love , not a duty. things you do out of love are not binding . Things you do as a wifely or husbandly duty , whether you feel like doing them or not , and you do out of fear of your husband , or wife , or fear of your in laws that is slavery.
