akbar,the great emperor established the din e elahi sect .it was a secular religion taking all the good aspects of all the religion.he would have been very disturbed seeing the present state of pakistan.
akbar knew these mullas better than any present rular knows to day, that is why he was called by name of jagadguru ,he was the kind of rular which india pakistan or any country would be very happy to have and need it. when he assumed full authority of ruling the empire at the age of 19 years ,by that time he had personally faced and understood fully that mullahs were beyond control from administration and authority. they had a bad habit of amassing money and wealth by bungling of the money meant for madad e mash given by king to the religious head for the distribution to the needy scholars
and poor muslims and poor students . sheikh abdunnabi the religious head of that department,he was hated by the poor muslims and helpless hindus because of his bad habit to collect money by confiscating their property on the charges of blasphemy ,this money he kept for his personal khazana. another man of the same category was abdulla sultanpuri he was chief qazi and sadr sudur he was also notorious for taking money during hearing of cases and embezzelment of money and took bribe for signing and distribution of sanads to muslim madarsa,scholars and institutions.
one day akbar asked these two mullas to give hissab of money given to them and how they amassed so much money ,an open inquiry was setup and qarores of ruppees were due on them. the enquiry revealed .
akbar demanded them strictly to return the money or immediately move to makka, this was a very harsh punishment to them no body knew them in makka ,they refused to go butakbar got them arrested by mohatasibs and bundled both ghooskhor mulla forcibly to surat port then makka sharif .their propertywas confiscated in this way interference of mullas came to an end.

most of the near relatives of mahmud ghaznavi who accom panied syed salar masud ghazi who was son of his real sister stayed in india and are distributed acrosseastern uttar pradesh , the salar masud is worshiped by hindus and muslims ,and his shrine is in bahraich district of u.p. he is worshiped by hindus as a hindu god ghazi miyan or baaley miyan , so now mahmud ghaznavi should not be considerd as belonging to pakistan only

maulana abdulla sultanpuri's money was hidden in nine larger than ordinary graves which belonged to his ancesters who were considerd as pir by locals, but even local people suspected that these graves are treasure houses alongwith buried pirs , these graves were inside the house of mulla ji at sultanpur of punjab ,
another culprit sheikh abdunnabi was idiot enough to devise the same method of concealing the money got through embezzlement of money got for distribution ,and bribery, but his treasure hoard was also not very secret , he also had graves in his house at agra . these two mullas could not live in makka because there no body gave them importance more than an ordinary muslim , they were dieing for the prestige and power which they enjoyed in india , most of all was the money five lac gold coins given by akbar for sharif of makka for religious purposes ,but these idiot mullas did not give the full money to the sharif .
akbar got this news and became very angry, in between some royal ladies were returning from haj ,
both returned defieng the badshah's order requesting royal ladies to get pardon from akbar boarde the ship without permission , finding this news akbar sent order for them to stay at surat , but both of them started from surat calling for jehad against akbar but nobody gave them hand , finally both reached agra visiting every mosque in agra preaching for jehad against akbar , when not a single jehadi came forward both mullas presented themselves for pardon but demanded their former posts , when akbar asked them to give account of money they simply refused and started talking harshly in presence of akbar himself ,now time of mullas was over ,they both were arrested and their property was confiscated , finally their treasure houses those graves were dug and very large amount of money was found in those graves which were finally confiscated to the govt,
brightest student of the madars will tell the crux of the storey ,

Bhai Jahangir was following Akbars footsetps, Akbar was the first to give the Farangi the permission to trade in wines etc for his own consumtion. Both Akbar and Jahangir like most of the Mughals were famous drunkards… 
Anyway lets not derail the thread… last word Mahmood was no bigger looter than anyone else at the time. Besides his deeds seem evil today but if you compare them to what went on back then his campaigns were much less devastating than his contemporaries.

i couldn’t agree more… Technology can help mankind wipe itself from the face of the earth but has yet to enable us to wipe out famine… No thats not true we can all help eradicate poverty, but fact is we would rather eradicate each other for any reason we can…

Yaaro Sultan eh Mahmood Ghaznavi was not just a great king but a consumate warrior and a saint… this thread does no justcie to anyone be it Ghaznavi or his supposed victims.
This thread has obviously lost all cohesion and the matter needs to close I think… it’s a Historic thread but it’s served it’s purpose and needs to be closed now please.
