Mahatma Gandhi’s last letter

Bought by the Indian government from an auction in London, one of the last letters written by Mahatma Gandhi was handed over to the Nehru Memorial Museum and Library by ICCR chief Dr Karan Singh on Tuesday.

**Written on January 11, 1948, 19 days before his assassination, it pleaded for tolerance towards Muslims. “Those who in anger boycott Urdu script put a wanton affront upon the Muslims… This is copying bad manners of Pakistan with a vengeance,” the Mahatma wrote.

The letter was part of Swiss citizen, the late Albin Schram’s collection. The government bought it for £18,000 (approx. Rs 15 lakh).

i dont get one thing how these letters get into hands of london people, was gandhi in london dayzz before his assination ?

many people in india don like gandhi decisions at that time much which lead to killing of freedom fighters like bhagat singh and sme others>>>

last or first who care, he was just a Gandhi for Muslims.
