depends on your needs.
I have one that is 3x and I use it when I am do my eyebrows sometimes. I can see better in the magnifying mirror. Very few times I have used it for applying eye liner when I could not get a straight line (but I am horrible with make up and especially eye liner)
I do not have the pricey big one. It is not tiny but big enough for my needs and was not very expensive either

I have one by conair, was for around $25. I use it for doing my eyebrows .. works great! You can see every single hair in it thanks to the lights.

I use a 3x one I think? But makes me feel cross-eyed after a while
Also I can see all the teeny tiny hairs so I get a bit paranoid

I have a 5X one and it does make me feel cross eyed also. But it is good to have if you have an even to go to… I can do under eye, eyeliner, eyebrows, and even hide any imperfection as needed.
I use it the most for plucking my eyebrows… You can see every pore, hair, everything on your face. Hence, only get it if you won't get supper paranoid. I was going crazy when I first got it and would have a cake face because I was trying to hide things that naked eyes can't even see.
