magazines and airbrushed/retouched pictures?

so we all have seen them

all of the magazines r retouching the bodies and faces of models/ppl that they r showing

what do u think bout them? :hmmm:

should it be done cuz everyhtign shud look picture perfect or do u think that they r going too far cuz its not real and they r tryign to show us what is not there :hmmm:

and how u think it effects us the ppl who see them :hmmm:

Re: magazines and airbrushed/retouched pictures?

well its just a business strategy. if maxim pays Megan Fox 200,000$ for just one hour photoshot for the cover page, and then the picture shows a mole or a red pimple or any kinda creepy uneven surface, do u think "guys" are gona buy it for their haram fantasies? or the "girls" are gona buy it to read megan fox's beauty secrets??? so bottom line is that if they dont make the picture look good they dont get enough bizness.

ps. u r talking about magazines but in pak any kind of picture goes through photoshop first b4 coming out on a paper, doesn matter its ur wedding album or even a passport photo, :s my friends pakistani passport pic is photoshoped cuz he wanted to look gora and pimple free :S

^ interesting :hmmm:

but there were pictures on the magazines b4 photoshop and ppl used to buy those magazines too and like them so y is that these magazine ppl r going insane like making models look super thin and super fake? :hmmm:

It's making young boys/girls more conscious... they forget that pictures in magazines are highly photoshoped, and no one really has blemish-free, hair-free, pore-free, refined skin.. everyone has imperfections. They spend enormous sums of cash trying to achieve that skin, where it's been re-touched with tools!

Re: magazines and airbrushed/retouched pictures?

ah that makes sense Eco, no wonder jo pak say pics athein hain the peepz look way more “gooder” looking.

Oh wait, i was supposed to be fighting with u, no civilized replies. Ok back to-> mode. :o

Black Cat: Its all about entertainment. If someone is paying X amount of money, surely they’ll be mad if the models from inside of mags have zits on their faces or other craters. They’re paying for their entertainment, so they want something worthy ‘looking at’ for their money. Not the avg Joe, Tom, or Harry’s face.

Re: magazines and airbrushed/retouched pictures?

what airbushed/retouched :hoonh

I dont bother as i have too much Spiritual Noor on my face :aliyish1:

^ Where do u store it? U only have a frown on u're face.. and wrinkles on u're forehead :P
