Being someone with some soft corner for MQM, I think this situation is actually encouraging for MQM's future. Its future is doomed unless it redefines itself and gets rid of negative past. The only way it is possible is through change of leadership.
It seems like some people in MQM now realize that Altaf's time is over. And continue to adhere to him will cause the party to go to oblivion. It needs to come out of Altaf's shadow.
Yes, Altaf will not let go of leadership easily. This can result in internal rifts and fissures. If this happens then nobody knows how the party will come out eventually. It might be divided in several smaller groups. The unity will be shattered.
But even if that happens, I think it would be better than what will happen with Altaf in place. Because in that case people will move on to other parties, like PTI, PPP and JI. And MQM will be history.

Seems like AH is trying to hold on to his Influence on MQM by causing party members to feel angry towards to leaders of Party like Farooq Sattar, Babar Ghaouri(Raabita Committee)?
The Committee apologized to AH in that clip to please party members and to assure low level members that the seniors(Farooq Sattar, Babar Ghaouri) are with AH, seems like they completely understand that as long as the average party worker believes that raabita committee is respectful to AH, they will keep doing the work that rabitaa committee wants them to do city wide. But if for some reasons these average party workers are made to think that the committee is not respectful to AH, then avrg worker will not obey seniors (Farooq Sattar, Babar Ghaouri etc) and eventually they will lose their hold on the city.

Altaf says that Rabita Committee thinks of him as a money making machine. Funny. Because I thought it was Altaf who was using Rabita Committee as his money making machine.

Yesterday he incited his followers against his raabita committee, and today he is asking them (workers) to ask forgiveness from them. Anyways a normal routine in MQM.

Today I listened to one of his stupid speeches...he was crying, he was being all innocent, and then ofcoz he was ranting...he can put any woman to shame...big drama queen he is...and all those ppl just sitting and listening to all his nonsense with such serious face...

Altaf is Qadhaffi of Karachi. The out of control workers are pseudo-terrorist at large and some of those are actually black water and special ops trained. They are behind most of these blasts and targeted killings in Karachi.
