Re: Madrassahs funding: Where is the money coming from?
If one is interested in "teaching" our children indepth knowledge of Islam then it must be done in "schools", may be additional day like Sunday school, extra classes in summer time, why put them on educating something using which they are unable to earn decent living.
Where do graduates of these madrassahs go? Are they expert enough to get jobs in industries/service sector/government sector/agricultural sector etc?
Very likely jobs for these graduates is be an imam of masjid, be a Islamiat/Quran teacher in a school. Currently it doesn't take an expert of Fiqh to teach "Islamiyat" in schools/colleges.
These madrassahs must teach beyond Quran/Fiqh/Hadith to students so they can earn their living instead of being dependent on "donations"/getting brainwashed into jihad (which will be declared by their teacher and not by president/PM of the country).
i dont disagree with you, but i do urge you to implicate previous governments more into this state of madrassahs
