If you ask me I don’t see any scandal in that video. Its a rather boring one with Madonna doing her usual moves & dances and with some shots showing the blasts of bombs and war images. I mean what is so wrong, don’t we see it in the news daily ?
I used to like Madonna a lot but I think she did it as not to lose her american fans which shows a bit of hypocritisy from her part.
Making the video costed 12 mio $. It was banned in the US.
As far as I know, the end scene of the song was like Madonna throw a gernade to Bush look-a-like; and he ignites it. It means nothin’. Song is average; music is great. I liked the tune of the song when it goes like:

The video was supposed to air on Friday has been pulled out, not banned 'cause Madonna doesn’t want people to take it in a negative, possibly Anti-American view. You can read about it on her **official site. **
Btw, she doesn’t pulled out video in fear of losin’ fans. Maddy is a sex machine; made over 100 videos. She can make it up to 12 million dollars in some other project.
I think the song is fantastic and does have meaning pertaining to what is happening in the world. Then again, you can relate music lyrics to anything you want it to. I love Madonna!
I think the most powerful lines in the song are when she sings:

I don't think she should have stopped the airing of the video.
