I hope you guys can also help me…I am looking for reviews about madhus (the venue I am looking for has them as a preferred caterer)

No idea about hiring them for as a caterer, but I have tasted their food at events I've been to and it's really nice. They advertise/feature a lot in Asiana Wedding Magazine, but that doesn't automatically make them good!

^thanks, that's exactly what I was asking, how good is their food, also would they be comparable to say Sapna's?
Any more reviews...good/bad would be appreciated.

If you can afford to go with Sapna hands down I have been researching wedding stuff for years now and I have never ever heard a single bad thing about their food or service. They are definitely the best in the industry. I wish I could have afforded them!! I have many close friends who have gone with Sapna so trust me!

Hey I would defintely go with Sapna's but the venue I am looking at only allows two asian caterers and Madhus seems to be the more established name, i will go check out the food before booking but was looking for any first hand reviews/experience.
I enquired about Madhu's theyre the only vendor Hilton (Birmingham) deal with and are thier approved caterers. What they quoted me is out of my budget the guy i spoke to was nice and very imformative and hes sent me a brochure.. I was expecting paper brochures its actually a leather bound case which can b reused and is full of info and a wedding planner book.! Impressed.! And hes sent me 6 tickets for the asiana bridal at hilton next weekend. I am going to meet them and see if we can work on a price if not the enquiry process with them was wonderful so far.!

Madhus i have heard to be good although no personal experience.
If you are keen on sapna then speak to them as some venues told me they only had certain approved suppliers but when I mentioned this to my sapna contact they told me they may not be on the list but still cater at the venue.
They can also get in touch with the venue to see if they can do your function

I heard they are very expensive and you get get similar quality and service at other caterers
But they have contracts at very prestigious venues
