Discussions between director Zoya Akhtar and superstar Madhuri Dixit have apparently ended on a soar note. The two won’t be working together in the forthcoming movie Nargis.
Although Zoya wrote the script with Madhuri in mind and even waited a considerable time to try and lure the actress, things didn’t work out. Some reports have stated Madhuri demanded a huge amount of money whilst others state there were major creative differences between the two women.
Possible replacements include Aishwarya Rai, Karisma Kapoor and Preity Zinta for the lead role instead. *
