i think madhuri is madhuri and bollywood is yet to find a replacement for her. i hvnt seen much of madhubala so i cant really comment on her but yes, i often use to wonder why people raved so much about her beauty! not sayin she is not pretty but i didnt find her to be “wow” either. I would prefer a meena kumari over her anyday but i guess thats just me.

Yeah you can watch Madhuri’s footage 50 years from now, you’d still feel the charisma and energy oozing out of her on screen persona (though she wasn’t much different in real life either).
