made rasmalai

Hey…i made the yummiest rasmalai today so i thought id share how i made it with you guys.

Its a really really simple recipe,You get some rasgullay(fresh ones you can get from desi mithai shops) and soak them in water for about 30-40 mins to drain out the sugar. Then squeeze the rasgullay to take the water out of them, but not too hard and put them in the bowl you wish to serve the rasmalai in.Heat up some milk and bring it to the boil a few times until the milk gets thicker then add sugar(to taste) and pour in some heavy cream, cook until the consistency is just right(not to thick and not too thin). Finally pour the milk and heavy cream mixture in the bowl you placed the rasgullay in.Serve it warm or let it cool and refrigerate.

it tastes soo good, has anyone made rasmalai like this before?

No, but I have some ras gullay frozen in my freezer, I'll definitely try out your dish.

Hope it tastes as good as it sounds.

Sounds really good :)
Just in time, I was wondering what to make for dessert on Friday when I have company over. Thanks :)

It does sound really easy.
How in the world did u come up with this recipe? :)

Wow! If this tastes pretty similar to the 'original' rasmalai, I'm going to give you dua's all my life. ;-)

I'll try it on the weekend and report back.

Oh WOW thats easy , :D

It does taste like the original...just make sure you get rid of all the sweet in the rasgullay and dont let them get too soft in the water because they will become to fragile, but 30mins should be fine if you get the fresh ones. Good luck, i swear mine turned out exactly like the "real" rasmalai, tasted great and soo easy to make! let me know how it went ! and if you have success with it(inshallah you will) i want dua's from you all your life-lol!
