**Maddah Say (if there is any)** Meri takhleeq say to tu mayoos hi hoga Na to lafzoN say taraashaa hai Inquilaab ka bharam mainay Na hi takhleeq meri mai hai Kisi jahaad ki pukaar Na farda ka koi dilfareb saraab Na hi maazi ka paihum israar Na hi ismaiN hai fusoon-e-alfaaz kay kartab Na hi nashist lootnay kay andaaz Aur maflooj zehanoN kay qaabil nahiN Ki ismaiN hai imkaan-e-sad-parwaaz The word “jehaad” has been used in broader context.It is to convey the holy wars of every religion that includes religion of my birth as well. You must have said something profound that in my Punjabi translation I could not find. You are a poet of depths many times hard to reach to. I would like to put your poem in English translation if you could kindly correct and amend my Punjabi translation. I am a fan of your poetry as might have already noticed. This nazm coveys my innermost conviction which neither offer any wishful fantasy of the future,of an utopia NOR any blind ibaadat of a romaticised past.I am all for making this "present" a fully lived experience.
