Urdu in America is such a waste of time. I mean who gives a shiit whether your beti can say 'mera naam bubbly hay' in urdu or not. It's not as if she is going to start reading Ghalib and Iqbal. Urdu is such a lazy language anyway. Saari ki saari ishq, sharaab aur budqismati kaa rona hay. Not a single metaphysics theory was written in Urdu. Its the language for the Nawaabs. We are hard working class people of America. We can not afford the luxury of Urdu.
