Only the folks who are fans of Geico’s caveman TV ad can share my plight.
At my workplace they recently had a blood drive sponsored by the Red Cross. I was all excited and looking forward to it,although I have to come clean -Not as excited with the prospect of saving a life then at the thought of guzzling down all the free Orange juice and fresh produce they provide you after you give blood. Don’t laugh-I don’t know how much a carton of Orange Juice is in your neck of the woods, locally you can’t get it cheaper then $4 a bottle and don’t get me started on the price of the fresh produce.
And another Freebie I love as much as the Orange Juice is Free T-shirts.
The blood drive day come and I couldn’t go…hubby was late at work and nobody to watch the kids. I consoled myself by drinking endless glasses of cheapo yucky Tang and laughing at all the losers who will get a dumb T-shirt with a Yellow Happy face on it saying “I gave blood today”
Imagine my chagrin when I arrive at work the next day and saw the lucky ones showing off their oh so cool T-shirts: Apparently Geico was one of the companies who sponsored the blood drive and the T-shirt said on the front " Giving blood…" And on the back it had a drawing of the Cave Man saying: “So easy the caveman can do it”
Wahhhh.. I want this T-shirt
