I asked a colleague and he mentioned something that I can not list here but has to do something with harmonics and shaking like hell..... :)thats what he said not me... :)

I would have to say either the plane or the telephone. No other invention has done more to make this smaller world by bringing people closer. Computer is still not as prevalent.

how about the electrical generator? after all without electricity there would be none of the machines we usuualy see.. The common rotor machine occurs everywhere in life, from fans to cars...
We really owe Farady a huuuugee debt!!! imagine what life would be without elctric power!!!
