In the 14" arena, the Gigabyte P34W V3 is an excellent choice.. You’ll get a i7-4720HQ, 970M, 16GB RAM etc and a great 14" IPS screen…
In the 15" arena, I would recommend the Clevo P650SG with a i7-4720HQ, up to 32GB RAM, 980M, IPS screen etc
If you do want a lot of CPU power, there is the Clevo P750ZM with i7-4790K desktop processor, upgradeable 980M MXM GPU, up to 32GB RAM, IPS screen etc.. Battery life wise it’s only 1-2 hours at best but power wise, it’s just ownage..
you can customize and reduce your cost.
