ok so i love this lipcolor but unfortunately it tends to dry out on me…its matt but still why must it get dried up?! i dnt have dry skin/lips either. Can someone recommend a color similar to it from mac? also what gloss u guys pair it up with?

I have Mocha and I think it's quite similar. You could maybe also try Twig, although I haven't personally tried that one.

Twig is browner/more mauve. Personally i think velvet teddy is overrated and Twig is much nicer.
Try Mac Mehr maybe? or Myth?

Yah i have tried twig but its brown and i dnt like browns much!

mocha def is more similiar to velvet teddy yet it is going towards a rusty goldish tone which i don’t think i would like much. I guess i wl stay with VT and just moisturize my lips more before applying it :).

Temptalia website does dupes on all the MAC colors. Helpful because you might find a similar color in another brand that's more moisturizing.

That's a good idea! Wl chk it out. Just hope they do give feedback on the moisturing quality of the colors as well.
