PCG: The best thing to do would be to go to a MAC counter and ask them to put on eyeshadows on you. This way you can see which colours suit you and which ones you don't like. The ones I have which can be used on an everyday basis are Paradisco, Rule and Sushiflower.

Below are just some of the MAC colors that're "natural" on me. For reference, I'm a NC42.
**Folie, Embark, Brown Script, Bronze, Satin Taupe, Patina, All that Glitters, Texture, Magnetic Fields, Woodwinked, Amber Lights, Neutral Pink, Haux.
There are also tons of choices from the pigments. I use MAC Paint Pots as "base" for the shadows.
As for combo, any of the above colors can be combined IMO. Just put the darker colors on the crease. :)
** They also have tons of fun colors such as Rule, Sushi Flower, Cranberry, Goldmine, Stars n Rockets etc....with the bright color, you can dab a bit in the outer corner for daytime/work wear.

i think a collection of bronze shades is the best, works on any occassion, any time of the day, depending on how u apply it
same applies for blue
