MAC MUA VS. Sephora

Hello Ladies,

I have an event coming up within a weak and want to get my makeup done. I have gotten my makeup done twice from MAC before - the 1st time my eye makeup was good, but the MUA went crazy while putting on my blush and so I had to re-do my foundation and blush at home. The second time - I hated my make up. I had shown a picture to the artist and my makeup was no where close to the picture and upon asking the MUA to put on cat eyeliner she seemed a bit hesitant as if she didn’t know how to apply it and once she did, it was just normal eyeliner not what I asked for.
So, this time I want to give Sephora a try but I still want reviews - good and bad on any experiances you have had with them while getting occasion makeup done.

^Something that I find helpful when speaking to makeup artists is having a picture on hand of the exact look you're after or if you don't have a picture explain exactly what you mean and describe the look in detail. I once had a similar experience with the "cat eyes" look where the makeup artists did something a bit different to what I had in mind. :)
