Does any1 here like MAC cosmetics? If so, what are your favourite products and what shades do you wear in foundations, lipgloss/lipsticks and blushers. I’l type mine out later. I thought it would be good to see what us asian girls like, and what colours/ shades flatter our skin tones. If you dont wear MAC make-up, then just share with us your favourite products that you can’t live without

FOUNDATION- Studio fix powder foundation C40 , Select spf15 fliquid foundation NC42, Select pressed powder NC40 , concealer- NC42 tube concealer
BLUSHERS- Blushbaby, peachykeen, peaches, plum fool
BRONZER -Matte bronze
LIPSTICKS- Vevet teddy, Brave, Half'n' Half
EYELINER- I use macs eyeshadow in Carbon which is a black matte eyeshadow and apply with the 266 angled brush.
EYESHADOW- I Love MACS vanilla eyeshadow pigment which i use all over eye area.
MASCARA- Zoom lash mascara

I wear covergirl's foundation (any of their products) in "soft honey".. it looks dark but its perfect on my skin.... il use any brand of mascara, as long as it's black black colored... i use this pencil eyeliner from Jordana... its available at Duane reade and other beauty supply stores, it's 99 cents and it's perfect.. its not hard like all the other eye pencils i've tried. As for eyeshadows, i use covergirl, revlon creme shadows and this 1 mac eyeshadow i hav is Electric eel... its a bright blue shade, ill post it when i get home.

I love MACS kajal pencil called SMOLDER. It has brilliant staying power.

i like their eye-shadows, but i think their foundations are horrible, as soom as their make-up artists find out that you are asian they would give you the darkest foundation they can think of (even if you are fair). it looks lovely there but as soon as you go back home you find out that itb does not match you skin.

I haven't been able to find a suitable foundation for my skin yet, mainly ebcause i hardly used to wear foundation back in pakistan but the weather in england is very harsh on the skin so its important to wear a moisturises plus foundation to protect the skin and to give good coverage,, i tried guerlain but again no use, though i love their concealer and i think its the best. i like the new mouusee eye shadows by red earth (limited edition), especially the blue one, it can change ur look in a minute.

MAC made me break out big time. However, their eye makeup is gorgeous and stays on forever.
I suggest..Prescriptives for foundation. They spend like 30 minutes analyzing your skin, so they can match you up perfectly. I wear it, and I looove it. My skin is really sensitive too, and it has not broken me out.
I can't live without my Avon luxury liner. In general, I love makeup. Not to hide my imperfections (well sometimes), but I just love playing around with it and trying new looks.

guys im hearing good things about mac eyeshadows from ya'll. i dont wear eyeshadow becuz i dont think they suit me... but ill try one by mac....any suggestions for medium skin tones?

mac is known mostly for their eye shadows...they have nice shimmery ones too. Right now they have this glitter eyeliner....it is sooooooooo pretty....go buy one seriously....its less than $15.....and can be used as glitter on your lids or can be a liner. Its a seasonal product....comes out once in a while.

I went to a MAC shop one time and all the sales ladies there had so much makeup on that they almost looked like clowns. All they needed was a round foam nose.
Ladies! please tone down the makup. Guys like it that way.

I think for any makeup counter it depends on how experienced your makeup artist is…usually someone who has worked with makeup for 3 years isn’t going to match you as good as someone who has been doing it for 10 years. The lady that did my foundation matched me really good. It was a creamy foundation and she didn’t cake it on. It looked really good…better than the estee lauder foundation that I have.

They purposely do that to show off the different types of colors they have. I went to Nordstroms Mac counter today and even guys had makeup on…I think Mac is all about the eyes and try to show the effects of the different colors…my dad thought the samething…he goes all these ppl look like clowns… 
…and the funny thing was he said it when he was at the counter…i was a little embarrassed since I was going to buy something from there!

I have worked as a beauty consultant for ‘Benefit’ cosmetics. But, I absolutely lurvvve Mac. My other faves are Nars, Dior, Givency and Molton Brown.
I used to get loads of free make-up working for Benefit .. infact, even though I have quit they still seem to be sending me goodies through the post. 
I’ll specify shades at a later point because it means having to go through heaps of make-up ..
