I am thinking to het BB or MAC for foundation, too bad BB is not available where I live, MAC is. So please help me which foundation I need to choose for
1)Combination skin, my nose and forehead gets bit oily and laugh lines and area around mouth get dry
2)I have a lot of spots, I use concealer sometimes
3)I don’t want anything very heavy.
what can I use from mac that would give me somewhat even skin tone without making my face too cacky..

In order to cover-up your blemishes you will need a 'heavy' foundation for maximum coverage. OR you could use a really pigmented concealer, set-it with powder and apply a 'medium' coverage foundation + powder to the rest of your face.
Use a concealer as you do now and use foundation very lightly over the skin. If you want light coverage and have oily skin the Mac studio fix might be one to try. You can buff it in to the skin for a sheerer finish. Also use a powder over your foundation for oily skin.

I wanted to try sculpt foundation due to its good reviews..thinking to give it a last chance ( hate all the MAC foundations i used, Pro longwear&Studio fix..i actually perfer drug store foundations far more better than these!) Has anyone noticed breakouts with the foundation?
I am going to MAC on friday to check out their foundations and press/translucent powders, what else is absolutely worth checking out (other than eye makeup) Thanks..
I recently purchased a blush that i adore: warm soul mineralize blush. Love the color and its so pigmented.
Also, i used MAC for years but i could never get the right color for my skin tone. I went to the Estee Lauder counter and absolutely love their double wear. If worn right, it can look very natural and hides my scars really well.
went to MAC tried both studio fx and sculpt, studio fx one was very natural, but sculpt looked link of pasty on my fave :( even after following with a translucent powder.
Studio fx turned orangy and both side after 4-5 hours of wearing were kind of dry on my cheeck :( and looked cacky looked closely :( hayeeee mein kiya karoon????
In india other brands I can try are dior, clinique, givenchy, lancome, estee lauder, seshido, bourjois, loreal, revlon wagerah, tomorrow I am meeting my dermatologist will ask her to suggest a brand too.
Please help, I don't want to do to all possible brands and try them all(although I may have too :( ))
i will try that when I go back to canada, lakin for now I am running out of foundation and need one. I use classified cosmetic since 2008, it is totally awesome, love how it feels weightless on the skin but still have good coverage.
I tried BB once back in 2005/6 didn't like what the MUA did at that time, may need to visit again because classified cosmetic foundation has parabens tu I am trying to avoid that too...
Do they have sephora there? or any store that carries Urban Decay products or Coverfx?
I think you should consider cream I use to use urban decay cream foundation, matched perfectly and covered really good! thing was it didnt last too long in summer. Then I switched to coverfx cream foundation and it puts even UD foundation to shame. it lasts realllyyy long, and covers amazing, and looks absolutely natural. never switching to anything now. Oh and I have the same skin as you, combination. If you cant find them out there in india, then I suggest you get Loreal souffle foundation(I found it amazing for a department store price, with great coverage).
also i suggest you avoid mac foundations if you have olive skin tone. It makes you look cakey, orange, and or someone that walked out of jersey shore. Not my choice for a good foundation.
ok will try loreal, I am not sure if I can find UD or coverfx here in india. There is a new mall coming in the city, they have fancy stores advertised, will see if they bring sephora.
