I was looking thru the other eye make-up thread…lots of fun stuff for parties, but what about work? What are you ladies using for work? And can you post pictures of your eyes in those colors. I guess other types of eye make up can work, but specifically any MAC colors you recommend?

Nude/light colours. Try applying a primer potion before you put any eyeshadow on. The ones I like from MAC are:
Naked lunch
Rule
Ricepaper
You can use these for work as they aren't too bright. I usually use a slightly darker colour on the crease.

Any neutral shades; beige's, taupes, browns.
I use wishful on the lid (it was LE but I'm sure there is something similar) and phloof or shroom on my browbone. Other shades I like are Satin Taupe, Shale, Sable.
Urban Decay Naked palette has a whole selection of neutrals as well.
An eye base is essential to keep the shades in place throughout the day and to make the colour 'pop' - I use MAC Paint in Bare Canvas, which you can use on its own too if you're in a hurry.

It depends on your skin tone...some shades can be just right for one person but a little too light or too dark for another.
I like Arena, Patina, Jest, Naked Lunch, Bisque and Satin Taupe.

Bobbi Brown has some nice eye color palettes out this winter. Dont remember their names, but they're everywhere.

Arena, Kid, soba for MAC. I'm a big fan of the Dior eyeshadow sets.
