MAC brushes

I wanted to know which ones are good/ essential for decent eyemakeup. I have been using Quo and Lise Watier brushes for a longgg time now and wanted to invest in a few MAC ones. But each time I’m reading up on them online, the description seems a little daunting, and I obv can’t afford to get them all. I also DON’T want to get a MAC artist’s suggestions on which ones to get and she will possibly try to sell me all.. I’d rather know which ones I want and buy them online.. so suggestions please

Re: MAC brushes

u know if u go onto youtube there r some ppl who have done like a beginners kit for mac and they include the brushes u mite need that can help

Re: MAC brushes

i think it depends on what sort of eye make-up you want to do.

my essentials are:
213 for eyeshadow because of it's density and firmness.
266 small angle brush for lining with powder, lining with fluidline, and precise shadow application.
219 pencil brush for the crease.

Re: MAC brushes

208 for cream eyeliner is best one...:)

Re: MAC brushes

actualy most of the sales associates if u tell them specifically that u are only going to buy just one, they will help you out.

Re: MAC brushes

217- eye shadow blender/shader
168- blush brush make really nice cheek bones
And they stay soft even after you wash them a lot! I plan to own many more of their brushes
