MAC appointment

I have booked a MAC appointment for the very first time. The appointment cost nothing but I have already paid £30, later I 'll get the products on the same day with that money basically the £30 is like a deposit money. So they charge a fee to ensure they are making enough to cover the artists time. Can you ladies share some of your past experiences with me,good or bad? And what products shall I get from them? A foundation,a blusher?

Re: MAC appointment

lipsticks, foundation, concealer, eye shadow palette :sadiyah: aur aik lishtick meri… :gina:

Can't say anything about their foundations/blushes because I have never used them but I'd definitely recommend their eyeshadows & lipsticks.

Re: MAC appointment

good! eye make up is awesome..you can choose colours etc.

I normally book this when I have a party/wedding to go to, wear my top and they match make up with my outfit...with the concession i usually buy the fake lashes which they put on me, and an eyeshadow/blush...something new for my collection.

Re: MAC appointment

I dont believe you have to pay in advance in the US. I remember my mom and I went and my mom got her makeup done and we decided to buy the foundation and powder that was used. I believe you have to make a purchase of $50 out of courtesy or you can ask for your makeup to be done and purchase at least $50 worth of stuff.

As for what I would recommend: Face & Body foundation and Mineralized Skinfinish Natural (these two make an excellent combo and give the most amazing finish to the skin); eyeshadows in Ricepaper, Vex, and Soft Brown; also, Vanilla pigment (best highlighter ever!) and Fix+ spray. As for brushes, the #217 and/or #224 are amazing.
