maat by umera ahmed

Re: maat by umera ahmed

I thought the same thing…
When she had a dialogue with Faisal about how Saman should be out of their lives..I was like awwww she can speak up …!

Re: maat by umera ahmed

finally watched an episode after a long time and it was SO SLOW and UNBEARABLE! I kept on going "bachay ko bada kardo, bachay ko bada kardo" but NO! painful stuff.

Re: maat by umera ahmed

I think they are going to change the ending otherwise they'll get anday and tamater from viewers.

Re: maat by umera ahmed

Faisal is getting on my nerves . Okay so now he has a good woman who is taking care of the house , his kid and is being a perfect wife yet he's still so ungrateful and is treating Aiman so badly. Perhaps for someone like him Saman was a good match lol :D

I suppose some men or for that matter women become very guarded and don't trust anybody again. a bad experience can mess u up for a long time. It happens in the west all the time. I wonder why Aiman doesn't have any kids with Faisal? It might show that she is barren

Re: maat by umera ahmed

Twinkle star in the Noval when they got married Faisal told him he don't want any more kids :)

Re: maat by umera ahmed

Men like Faisal hav no value for goodness, its all abt lust n looks. The way he is treating Aiman is unacceptable. On the other hand Saman is experiencing wealth is not everything. I think they did change the story coz Saman had a good life n 2 girls from Azer in the story? How come all of Samans classmates r B(i)tches .

In Pakistani society most men do value looks a lot. It is an unfortunate fact but they want it all. A fair and beautiful wife that is domesticated and preferably educated. Faisal happen to have to have a cousin who was beautiful. Her sister Aiman was shareef but plain Jane. for some reason even the moms and nabu and dadi go for looks over seeratun. It is a huge problem in our society.

Re: maat by umera ahmed

^ but is it just a myth that good wives melt a husband's heart after a while?

Re: maat by umera ahmed

Good wives can only melt a guy's heart who has the brains to realize how good he has it.

Do you think they will change the ending of this drama and make it different from the novel. I sure hope so, I would hate for Saman to have it all back and for aiman to lose out.

Re: maat by umera ahmed

^Oh, dear god no. Please do not tell me that is how it ends in the novel. traumatized

I love how Saman finds out in the next episode that Azhar still hasn't given Saaliha a divorce.

Re: maat by umera ahmed

Azar wants to all! A loyal first wife who is also a devoted mother to his children and A TROPHY WIFE WHO HE COULD SHOW OFF to the world. He knows he will get sick of her soon so thats why the wise guy doesn't want children with her. Unfortunately there are too many men like Azar in Pakistan. Having money helps this situation. The first wife doesnt go anywhere because of the kids.

Re: maat by umera ahmed

I am just trying to figure out - are men really this stupid? I really hope these are just examples of over-exaggeration. Faisal here in maat and Asher in Humsafar. Why don't they use their brains!!

Re: maat by umera ahmed

actually MEN ARE THIS STUPID! Successful are the women who figure out how to manipulate them by preying on their weakness whether it be wives, mothers, sisters, co-workers, khalas, maids......I could go forever.....

Fareeda does know that her son is loyal. He is even loyal to his wife. Another weakness that Fareeda knew is that he could become JEALOUS and possessive...hence the plot she came up.......

In Maat....Faisal is after beauty at any cost......that is his weakness. He has a loyal and loving wife but he can't stand the fact that she is a plain jane......I wouldn't be surprised if he took Saman back.

In Mere Qatil Mere Dildar....Umar the idiot wants to please and satisfy his elders at any cost.........He doesn't have the guts to stand up for anything....his elder brother knows this and he is preying on Mahum because he know his brother doesn't have any guts.

We all can relate to these characters because they all EXIST to some degree in our Khandaan and in our friends circles. It is a sad fact.....

Re: maat by umera ahmed

^Agreed and we all know women who have figured out the weaknesses around these men are the successful ones. If the wife figures out the guy's weak point she gets her way if his mother knows his weak point she has the upper hand.

Re: maat by umera ahmed

to an extent you are right Twinkle. We have all met men who have some qualities of the Ashers and Faisals we see in the dramas. They might not have all of the characteristics but most of them.

in the last episode of Humsafar Khirad says to Asher that Hareems used to say she is so intelligent to which he would reply yes because her father is very intelligent and successful. TA. Asher was on cloud 9 after he heard this. As some guppans pointed he died a little right there. some men will eat crap for praise, so operate on guilt, some on lust.,.some need to be I. Control......ladies u gotta figure which button to press.....and I sadly I am not trying to funny this is so true.

Re: maat by umera ahmed

cant wait for hadeed to grow up! theyre gonna leap to 20 yrs or so . does this happen in the novel as well?

Re: maat by umera ahmed

ohhh kay. to everyone: lets stop making this about all men? and manipulating and pressing right buttons and whaaat whaaa? :omg: Faisal is a loser. Saman is a loser. at the end of the day it’s entertainment. fiction.

and that scene from humsfar where i said “ashar dies a little” i don’t even know how to explain. I found it endearing. not arrogant or egoistic of him. I hope that is how the rest saw it too. =\ their marriage is a about them. not him or her. it’s their daughter.

So what do women operate on? attention? money? compliments? drama?

UFF.

if i had to pick a girl through a twisted rishta process with nothing else in common, no real desire to get married. i’d go for looks too. lets eradicate that thing.

Re: maat by umera ahmed

if all you guys wanna focus on is the looks. then good wives can and do look good too. we just have retarded characters in this particular nonsensical drama made for ladies with the "i am a bechari" syndrome.
