maat is becoming interesting day by day....everyone is acting really well...specially saba. loved today's episode.....faisal is pretty much stupid...i would have been annoyed if i had a friend like aazar, tooo frank and interfereing...........dialogues btw azar and swaliha are funny. lol
Okay, this is too much!! How can someone be so evil and succeed in their disgusting plans. Are all the people around Saman blind? (this includes her husband and her sister). I just don't understand what is the writer trying to portray here?! The only aqalmand in this drama is Azar's wife, at least she sees how chalaak Saman is.
i mean, they surely cannot be portraying aimen's bholapan as the ultimate good? nothing in extremes is good and im not fond of her character in today's world.
^ probably not! I have stopped expecting much from these afsanwi writers like Umera Ahmed and Farhat Ishtiaq. The stories of both maat and humsafar are taking a turn for the ludicrous now!
Agree with everyone, sick of these ridiculous stories…if they are trying to send any msg across, it’s a negative one indeed. The good suffers endlessly while the evil always gets their way, no regrets no repercussions…pretty obvious what would look like a more attractive and easier alternative to most. Now I know how our women have this perpetual victim mentality drilled into them! Either suffer by being a doormat or be a b**** to get your way, no other alternative to live and no making it suddenly and miraculously alright in the last episode by turning the victim into a saint does not justify anything! Ok rant over, I should stop watching this crap, makes my blood boil
Agree DB!! I was weeding my flowerbeds today going as woman we have been given so much strength and power by God. We don't need men to do the work that traditionally was done by men. Why the heck do writers like to show us as weak and dependent all the time? It annoys me to no end. Someone write some strong and positive woman roles already! I am tired of seeing either **y characters being strong and independent or to turn strong and independent the characters become some powerful **y business tycoon!
Yup, Aiman’s naivete REALLY got on my nerves in the most recent episode. Was Saman’s last betrayal not big enough for her to realize that she shouldn’t believe everything her sister says? How can you be that dumb.
What irks me is that in the episode previous to this one…the mom was complaining to Aiman that Samman is “bevakoof”…and I love how Aiman says “Woh bevakoof nahin hai”…and she said in a way that basically said to the mom “Saman is anything but bevakoof, she is one clever lil loombri”…and you’d think that such a comment would mean that Aiman has become wiser…but I guess not.
And the “handsome” Aazir (as Saman likes to call him) needs to trim his fro a bit.

Not just any writers, but FEMALE writers!! And to add insult to injury, even the producer Momina Duraid , a female, thought this vile story would be good entertainment and fun for all??? Urghh!
This drama really does raises my blood pressure! I must stop watching it!

I already decided I wont watch it. Maybe catch the story after a week or two. But no am not watching it regularly. It just gets me SO angry ! And now that I have heard the story ..am just super disappointed. What was Umera Ahmed thinking when she wrote such a story :/
I don't think they are showing women necessarily as weak and dependent.
The mother is a widow yet raised 2 daughters on her own, which is extremely hard in a place like Pakistan (just watch Khusbhoo ka Ghar and you see what situations single mothers/widows have to face everyday in Pakistan). Yet, she was able to do it successfully without resorting to malicious and greedy tactics ....
You have to remember there are various relationships portrayed in this drama. There are the two sisters, the khalas. One has a son and wanted to help her younger sister by getting Aiman and her beta, Faisal, married (also she liked Aiman). There is loyalty, love and sincerity in their relationship as sisters.
Then they showed us another relationship of two sisters, Aiman and Saba. Saba is rat who is determined to make sure her sister will never have any happiness. Aiman grew up seeing the loyalty and love between her mother and khala. It is not surprisingly she treats Saba the same way.
Saba may be getting everything she wants, but she has no respect from anybody (except for Aiman - which will eventually change). Nearly everybody see's through her tactics. She will run off with the business partner, but she won't have any respect at the end of the day (except from Faisal ... and is that a man who is worthy of respect himself???)

^ Doesn't change the fact that the characters are so one-dimensional and just plain annoying and stupid. If this was a Seema Ghazal written drama, I would have been ok with it. But to have Umera right this heap of bologna is beyond ridiculous.

I just read everyone's comments. I don't watch the drama. I had watched the first couple of epis and then the one where Saman got married. Don't really care for this one a bit.
