The way I see it, they are showing the consequences of being a submissive doormat. I don’t think they are promoting such naivete … even Aiman’s mother is fed up with her submissive nature when it comes to Saman.

Oh yeah, of all the women in the world, its the clueless pakistani women who need to know what a ‘submissive doormat’ is since they have no experience of it!!!
