Just checking how many of you avoided frozen meat etc to avoid lysteria.
I just attended health talk and they were on about this, and all I could think of was that culturally our freezers are stuffed with chapli kebabs, samosay etc in case of emergency, so does that mean you cant consume all this whilst pregnant.

So what did you eat?
Freshly cooked meat. Make sure it's properly cooked and heated. No deli meats like bologna or hot dogs or raw or undercooked meats (make sure it's well done). No unpasteurized milk/dairy products. Stay away from cat litter and cat feces as well.
As long as it is heated up and cooked properly there is no issue. I ate everything. Theres no way i could have survived without samosas and kebabs. i even freeze salans. Just avoid shellfish and raw eggs and unpasturised dairy products.
