Hi. My friend is a breast cancer survivor and she had a mastectomy. Since it was a mastectomy, it affected her arms. Now she has lymphedema. Are there any desi totka’s for this other than exercise and massaging the affected area. Like, what to eat or drink to provide some relief. She wears a tight glove like sweater that was given by the doctor to aid in lessening the pain. She has swelling in her whole arm on the side of the operation and whenever it goes down, it hurts a lot. So, if anyone can reply with any suggestions it would be a great help

swelling will gradually reduced but not gone, she shouldn't be having pain unless its the early stage of having it. I do know of someone having it but there is no more pain just swelling. I think she should check with the doctor if she is having the pain for too long. Avoid heat, garam food too, and keep the area cool, don't let that area sweat. And do use that arm normally and daily, keep it active .....
