A while ago, I opened up a thread on how the mods should try doing a better job in getting rid of personal attacks from one member to another, especially when they pull in personal life scenarios.

Btw if a person is offended mods should take it off right? And family was being brought into that discussion...so plus the other was a direct attack - which by forum rules isnt allowed.

No, I really could not. Because frankly everyone has noticed that the anti-PCG remarks is going up in every forum. And its increased a lot more lately because of my stance on female imams.

Yes, remove quality posts from the Aisha thread, but let a-holes get away with speaking of PCG's father in a base manner. I'm going thru a lot right now with that man, and the nerve of people to speak against someone's parents like that.

Matsui, I would give it back to them with mirchi, but that's exactly what they're looking for ironically. They just want a good padha, and I dont have the time for it.
I was a mod, and I know what the rules are. NO ONE here is allowed to personally attack anyone else. If it happens that INDIVIDUAL POST gets removed to review folder - if it continues (like with LUxury Item), the mods need to warn him - and then banning if admin sees fit.
The fact of the matter is, that the mods are seeing these things, and they're doing jack **** about it. So my issue right now is with the moderators of this forum. If you can't handle it, then dont moderate. I'm convinced one of the main reasons people take up moderating is so that they can get a peak into the mod forum.
Oh and could you general moderators really not handle the challenge that you went ahead and just locked a full thread that had no problems with it, other than LI’s comments? You could have just scanned thru those comments and removed them.
Use the search option - its an easy way to home on in some targeted guppies posts in a forum.

But even if you find it offensive, the reverse argument used against cyber-mullahs can be used here: the mods try their very best to ensure a good discussion climate. Furthermore noone is forcing you to post here, if you don’t like it here and think the mods don’t try their best to ensure that, then why bother posting in the first place?
