Resham should win the best actress for man-o-salwa, hands down. Not really interested in the rest. and by the way, isn't Lux Style held like every 6 months or something? They just had one in Malaysia and now again.. these people need to invent other ways to socialize.

no,it's an yearly award show...
they have announced the nominations now,then the voting will start and may be in aug or sep,the awards will be held ...

KARACHI - Lux Style Awards has announced the entertainment nominations for this year’s 7th annual Lux Style Awards. The nominations were released in the categories of film, music and television.
Coming on the hallmark is the film, ‘Khuda Kay Liya’ that has left deep imprints on the silver screen. Actor of the year is Shaan, actress of the year is Imman Ali. Best original soundtrack is of ‘Khuda Kay Liya’. In the world of music, Ali Haider, Atif Aslam, Abrar ul Haque, Jal and Rozen have been nominated in the Best Music Album Category. Best Music Video category has nominated ‘Broken Boundaries’ by Coven, Overload’s ‘Dhamaal’, Ali Zafar’s ‘Sajania’ Jal’s famed video ‘Sajni’ and finally Mizraab’s ‘Ujaloan Main’.
A new category was introduced for the Awards this year and the best single of the year nominees were ‘Aisi Taisi’ by Azal, ‘Bandeya’ by Khawar/Faiza from Khuda Kay Liye, ‘Laree Chootee’ by call, ‘Roya Re’ by Shiraz Uppal and ‘Sajni’ by Jal. The fourth music category of Best Live Act was dominated by Josh, Mauj, Meekal Hassan Band, Overload and Strings. Best TV Play on Satellite nominates two drama serials from Hum TV, ‘Man-o-Salwa’ and ‘Najia’ and three from Geo Network, ‘Pehla Chand’, ‘Shikwah’ and ‘Vanee’. Best TV Director on Satellite nominates Ajum Shehzad, Babar Javed, Barkat Siddiqui, Roomi Insha and Rubina Ashraf. Best Satellite TV Actor nominates; Ahsan Khan for Muqqadus, Mehmood Aslam for Shikwa, Noman Ejaz for Man-o-Salwa, Sajid Hasa for Shikwa and Sohail Asghar for Vanee. Best Satellite TV Actress category picks out five females for the nominated post, Bushra Ansari for Vanee, Javeria Abbasi for Najia, Resham for Man-o-salwa, Saba Pervez for Vanee and Savera Nadeem for Shikwah. Best TV Play - Terrestrial, has three nominations from PTV, ‘Lyari Express’, ‘Meray Dard Ko Jo Zuban Milay’ and ‘Yaadain’; two nominations from ATV, ‘Hazaroon Khawahishain’ and ‘Sukhan’.
Best TV Director - Terrestrial nominates Ali Rizvi, Manzoor Magsi and Sohail Iftikhar Khan. Best TV Actor - Terrestrial Asif Raza Mir for Meray Dard Ko Jo Zuban Milay, Mehmood Aslam for Hazaroon Khwahishain, Shabbir Jan for Lyari Express, Shafi Muhammad for Sukhan and Waqas Khan for Hazaroon Khwahishain. my votes 4 jal in whichever category they are. ‘Sajni’ that was the best one. I still listen to it most of the time. But Bandeya in KKL was a nice song as well. I think ‘laree chotti’ or ‘roya re’ wil bag the prize.
Reesham did a good job in MoS, she should get it.
The rest of it was too lenghty to comment.
