Around 5 years back in 99-2000, when this thread was opened in this forum, I was all for arrange marriage.
However, with the passage of time, my views changed and whenever this thread was opened between 2001-2003, I was mostly for love marriage with a hint of arranged as well.
But, I, again, am convinced that marriage has to be solely arranged.
Love is all bakwaas. Love is only after marriage.

I agree with anwaar and attia. All this love is bull****. This love marriage stuff only happens in bollywood and lollywood, not reality! Wake up people, marriage is no joke!
Life is what you make it and real love only comes after marriage.

Marriage is not an event. It's a process. There has to be love and it has to be arranged. Without the presence of either, it would fail. The only difference is the sequence.

NO to both.... I think friendship marriage is the best. You ask how??? its like that....
Doesn’t matter you meet a partner by yourself or you get arranged to meet someone. You have to know the person before saying the big YES or even NO. I do not believe in love at first sight... its all bakwaas. First sight is not lLOVE, it’s a LUST.
Go out and try to build friendship. Get to no the person’s good side as well as the bad one. It’s a fact that NO ONE IS PERFECT. But YES you can find a person who is perfect for you and balances your personality. Keep your relationship out in the open, stay positive and just be yourself. Eventually you will find your answer. Doesn’t matter if its yes or no, it will be the right one for you.

i believe in love marriage... i guess arranged works out too.. but i kno who i am marrying n so does my family n now our families have become friends but we arent ringing wedding bells for another 4 years as my sister is arranged n is happy wit her fiance after they met after the engangement.. so mashallah.. both can work if you make it work ....
