How are these products? I’ve stopped by their store to take a quick peek but I usually like to get testimonials before I buy anything?
Anyone tried any of their products?

Re: LUSH

Re: LUSH
umm they have alot of nice stuff espcially soaps like honey i washed the kids
Re: LUSH
I’ve seen their website, but I want to hear some guppie reviews ![]()
Re: LUSH
they have parabens in their products, that cant be gud?
I use their big shampoo and american dream conditioner. They make my hair extra shinier and silkier and my hair smells soooo good. Often times people ask me what perfume I am wearing, because they can smell my hair :D
I have tried many of their soap, but I did not much like any of them. The soaps smell wonderful, but they don't lather up well in the shower, and most of them dry my skin out.
Re: LUSH
ditto on the soaps. I've been using samples, and they've all dried my skin out.
I know people who experimented around and they found the perfect shampoo. shrugs Its very expensive though, and I don't like throwing the money away.
Re: LUSH
i loveeee lush. their soaps are yummmmmy.
Re: LUSH
I have been using their cleanser, toner, face mask, hair conditioner and many other bits n bats for around 3 years. It suits my skin a lot, especially the cleanser and face mask are just heaven. My skin was so dry that nothing suited it and i tried so many different things but their cleanser, ( ultra bland) and face mask ( brazened honey) are great products.
Re: LUSH
I use their sea salt face scrub... it's really good for polishing the skin... and it has vodka in it :)
Re: LUSH
lol, maroush :p
i get nauseated by the overwhelming smell drifting out of their store and all over queen st. west, so i've never actually been in there!
Re: LUSH
Yeah SGC, my daughters hate it when we’re shopping and we go in there… they call it the ‘smelly shop’ as the smell in the air is so potent! Takes some getting used to… just don’t breath through your nose… i know some people who want to try the products but get put off by the smell which you can smell around 10ft away from the actual store! ![]()
Niki baji, is there anythng you’re looking for/ wanting to try specifically, or you just want to know overall? Overall, i would say their products are pretty good, everything i have tried so far has been nice, no allergic reactions or breakouts… but the one product i would really advocate is the salt scrub i mentioned above. ![]()
Also:
a lot of celebrities like using ‘cupcake’ which is one of their fresh face masks
my nephew used to use the ‘mask of magnamity’ on his back when he had acne… it really helped sooth his skin apparently…
my hubby uses the lush temple balms… no explanation needed ![]()
Re: LUSH
Oh, I wonder if its the same LUSH we have in UK. The soaps look like cakes which they cut slices off. Everything smells great.
Just walk in and ask for some (FREE!!!) samples of the stuff you like, then u can buy if you like.
Re: LUSH
Yes it is the same as the one we have in the UK RupayHalwa… and FYI it originates from the UK…

And yeah, i just have huge chunks of their different soaps lying around on my bathroom shelves… they look so cool!
Re: LUSH
The soaps are amazing. I highly recommend their products. I know a few people who use their soaps to help with their eczema.
Re: LUSH

Go with what she has to say! She gives amazing fashion advice! :k:
Re: LUSH
maroush, I was looking for reviews on facial skin creams and shampoos.
Re: LUSH
i'd say no to their facial creams if your skin is the least bit intolerant of fragrance and oils. they use oils and fragrances in their face creams. Their one cream meant for sensitive, oily skin is called 'enzymion' and even that has cocoa butter in it...
I use their flying fox bath gel, and their godiva shampoo bar sometimes when im looking for a frangrance kick. they're both fragranced with jasmine which i am crazy for. the shampoo makes my hair very silky and pretty on day one but the next few days they look weighed down. usually im able to go up to 4 days without shampooing hair as they look fresh but not when i use this. another shampoo bar is called seanik which is for oily hair but i hesitate to use this as it has sea salt in it...i dont see how sea salt can be good for hair in the long term...
oh and i LOVE their coal face soap, their mask of magnamity (spelling?) face mask, the ocean salt scrub, the tea tree toner tabs and their butterball bath bomb. all staples in my bathroom.
