Lush Vanishing cream Vs Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion?

ASA, =)

i’ve been looking for a nice moisturiser for a while, most moisturisers just don’t cut it for me :s , i have really dry skin that breaks out now and then ( though the breakouts have calmed down alot recently ) and even though i have really dry skin most moisturisers just seem to sit on my skin

So i’ve been looking around and ive narrowed it down to two options… lush vanishing cream or Clinique Dramatically different, i quite like lush products as they’re natural but my only issue is that im not sure weather it’ll be moisturising enough for my skin, and does anyone know weather dramatically different helps with pimples/preventing pimples?

Has anyone tried both or either products, i need help as to which one i should go for!

Lush vanishing cream - never tried but am guessing it's more of a mattifying cream so may not be too good for dry skin?

Haven't tried the clinique one but personally think that clinique is over-rated.

Try thebodyshop's/superdrug's vitamin e cream - has great reviews.

I used to have dry skin for a while and i used Enzymion from Lush, i don't think it was meant for dry skins but it worked really well

I have dryish skin too...what do you use?

Kind of weird, but I find if I use vaseline before going to sleep..like really rub it in, the effects actually last for a day or two..

@ Summayyah & Cinnamonroll Thank you for the recommendations, ill try and check those moisturisers out too :)

@ Sara516 - i use angels on bare skin as my cleanser but i've nearly run out and im thinking of purchasing the liz earle cleanse and polish instead bcuz ive heard alot of great reviews about it,
For toner ive been using eau roma water from Lush, i really like for my dry skin bcuz i feel it helps to hydrate it a bit before i put on my moisturiser
For moisturiser - I was using Olay double action day cream : i didnt like it, it moisturised a bit, but mostly felt like it was just sitting on my skin :s

so yh....im thinking of giving clinique a go...

For a toner, you should buy lavender and rose hydrolats directly and mix them. The lush stuff is too weak.

Ylang Ylang or Orange Floral waters are also supposed to be good for dry skin.

And everyone already knows what I'm going to say to use for moisturising the skin....
