Re: Lunch idea for husband

Sandwiches using frozen patties.
Marinate some sliced up steak and freeze it up, cook it the morning you're gonna use it and make a submarine sandwich.
If he likes it - roll up some parathas (aloo paratha, keema gobi etc)
Shami kebabs are good for a quick fix sandwich as well.
Lasagna heats up nice for lunches.

You can do a load of things. Leftovers are easy to work with, and you won't waste food.

Re: Lunch idea for husband

I buy Pita Bread and toast them, divide them in half .. then fill it up with what ever the salan I have in the fridge ..

Filled Paratha's are a good option too ...

sandwiches , with salan filling are really good too ..

Make kababs , potato , mince or vegetable .. and just spread them in the sammich ...

Do wraps ... buy some Fajita wraps from the market and add sme stir fry to it .. it can make interesting lunch ...

yup. :k:

Re: Lunch idea for husband

My husband refuses to take left over salan or rice. He only wants sandwiches. He makes an egg sandwich and pretty much takes that every day of the week (Coz I am not a morning person so I can't make kebabs early in the morning). I do make chicken bread or pizza which he loves and takes happily with him.

Re: Lunch idea for husband

make kababs at night. We have lot shami kabas, sometimes I make sandwich with them, mostly it is rice with some leftover salan or left over pasta with some sort of fruit. Sometimes, I'd put some yogurt in a little container. That is what I take as well.
