hey ladies…so there’s a lunar eclipse comin on the 26th of this month and i’ve seen some of the pregnant ladies around me discussin it like its something serious. it seems like it can affect a pregnancy somehow??? what do you guys know/think of this? will you be taking precautions on the day? i don’t really understand what there is to be afraid of? and what can you do to prevent anything bad from happening?

Funny, there was an eclipse during one of my pregnancies too and my hubby asked me to stay inside that day. When I asked why, he didnt really know but said that it might be superstition. I just said better safe than sorry and stayed in that day.
It would be nice to know whats the problem with it though...
I have heard it about too but all I can think is its a myth.

If you think about it... during eclipse strange or at least unusual things are happening. To light, to the force of gravity, tothe amount of radiation in the atmosphere. So while this fear for pregnant women being outside during eclipse is myth and old-wives tales, there may be some sort of seed of truth in there somewhere.
Why NOT....take a day off and stayed inside!
