Why dont we have lunar calendar dates alongside the one we already use? This would also allow people to be aware of the islamic calendar. Something I am ignorant of myself. Just a suggestion. Thank you.

Indeed its a very good suggestion but for which country, which region and what sect. For the past 22-24 years I have never seen people agreed to one date, so it will always be controversial "for some of us", not me.

That shouldnt stop this site from using the islamic calendar. Possibly a consensus can be done with the admin and mods and then a decision made. I dont know. I would just like to see a date. smile
islamic cal depends on the lunar cycles ... all the electronic islamic cals have at least +-1 day error ... your suggestions have been noted and we will see how(if) we can add this important functionality ...
