After a lot of discussions and fights the deal will be made.
Today the Swiss government (majority owner of Swiss) and the executive boards of the airlines Lufthansa and Swiss meet and will formally finalize the takeover.
However the actual decision has been taken already.
Lufthansa will offer 70 million Swiss Francs (45 million €) to the small shareholders for their 14 percent shares in Swiss.
In a second step the big shareholders will receive financial compensations for their shares in Swiss. These compensations are linked to the development of Lufthansa’s own stock value.
