This makes my life much easier, since I am only less than 3 hours drive from Berlin.

Islamabad main koi dhang ka airport banne ga to jaaegi, naa.

Austrian Airline was initially planning to start flights from Vienna to Karachi this year, but that was cancelled. I guess that was because they didn't get landing permissions from the CAA.

Well, from Prague to Frankfurt it's a 5 hour drive. So it might be better to fly into Frankfurt first.

yep .... flying to Frankfurt - drive is awful .. plus where to park the car etc. Plus never know traffic ....

But I am thinking of moving back to Amsterdam (or not eager though but to London) anyway.

If you want a non-stop flight: Yes. Otherwise there are quite a few options like Toronto-Frankfurt-Lahore on Lufthansa for example. And in November Emirates is starting non-stop flights to Toronto as well, so then Toronto-Dubai-Lahore would be an option too.

If you are traveling from US, Emirates and PIA are still the best bet. I have traveled to KHI with SAS, Lufthansa, KLM, among others and have concluded that Emirates is the best value and PIA is the runner up.

^ I agree. There're only two options to fly with one stop - Cathay Pacific and BA. None of these airlines go to Lahore. Even though, Lufthansa will stop in Karachi for an hr. Still a lot better option to get to Lahore from the West coast.

I am planning a trip in December. I was hoping for a Dallas-Frankfort-Karachi flight with Lufthansa given that AA flys direct to Frankfort. Any idea how much that should/will cost?
