**i played Carom and Ludo both!

i remember we had a Carom championship in my village. I and my friend reached the FINALS against my Dad and his friend…the FINAL was the old vs the young teams. we lost! my Dad was a great Carom player. he used to finish the board in a couple of turns. he would ‘pot’ 6-7 pawns in his opening strike. my max ever was 5 including the ‘queen’. i was very good at ‘rebound’ and ‘tangent’ shots.

i used to play ludo up until age 14 … after that never got a chance to play. i liked it though.**
