I fail to understand how these “typical boy meet fairy tale romance” thingies are not insulting to people’s basic intelligence, and how they love to swallow them, film after every trashy film… but oooooooooooh… its that darned thing called bollywood right?

atleast bollywood has a industry that isnt dying who cares what they make, i guess whatever they make is working because people still watch it, you dont have to like it personally but atleast they have a industry unlike lollywood where its no where to be found and if so its the same thing they make love story's with songs and all. stop critizing them first fix lollywood and then we can start the debating on how much it sucks. we know bollywood is good it is pretty much making a name for themselves internationally which will help lollywood actors cause all they have to do is go to bollywood and they will have a easy way to success, lollywood doesnt even have to re-create all they have to do is work with bollywood and they can be showing their talent the easy way, i think its the only way left and the best way seeing as how bollywood is more advance and more well known, we should just appreciate that they are going to do joint ventures and arent afraid to bridge the gaps. even i didnt know who the hell adnan sami was till he came to bollywood our own people will have a clue of who's who when they are given the right chance.
as for lucky i like the songs and adnan did a good job singing and all.

it should have someone that defends it, they deserve it for all i know they are doing us the favor and for you to find that hard to believe, maybe you should make the actual difference and become some big lollywood hero and fix it, instead of trying to sit here and trying to defend lollywood because its the sad truth it sucks and it is just a copy of bollywood, they need to stop focusing on what bollywood is making and start making their own identity finding movies, maybe it can revive some hope!

Why do you guys drag the poor “Lollywood” in? Why the inevitable comparisons?
Most of all why do you have to be so apologetic for watching Bollywood, man? You can just say that you have the most God awful taste in movies and you just love to sit through the 3 hours of garbage which Bollywood turns out with regular perfection.
And they are doing us a favor…hmmmm, now that’s really interesting. Maybe you’re from the other side of the great divide, I do not know, but dude, with all the crap that it is, it surely is doing NOBODY any favor.
Mindless, it really scares me you’re calling strangers “uncle”. Look for a foster home real fast, now! Other than that, the two songs aren’t exactly similar but similar enough that I spotted the likeness the first time I heard the lucky song. And oh, that one called “Chori Chori” is a rehash of a musical interlude in Pyar Bina Jeena Nahin Jeena from Sargam.

i saw the movie lastnight… barely 15 people in the cinema (could be cus it was a wednesday night)
hmmmz the boring wasnt thhhhaaat bad, but it really had no substance. I dunno why but it reminded me of Kisna, the whole running around trying to get somewhere scenario… but i liked it more.. i HATED kisna with a passion.. (cus of how much skin it showed i guess)
neways, not a bad movie… but no real story. Just watch it without thinking… i just thought the girl, sneha, was really cute… and russia looks heavenly :love:

Rukhsar, i thought the songs were picturised quite beautifully.. thats the only thing they ever showed in the previews (hence my reason for watching it).. movie was crappy otherwise

Salman looked horrid in the orange gay jacket in jaan meri jaa rahee sanam so that’s why I’m a bit hesitant to watch :halo:

i saw it yesterday it was ok. First half was not that exciting. Post Interval portions were much better than the first half. Overall another average fare with a couple of really good songs
